Travel has always been in my blood, even as a little girl my favourite pass time was going on road trips with my parents. Every year I always waited excitedly for our next trip. I loved seeing new places and learning about the differences between that new place and my own home, and nothing has changed now that I’m an adult.

As I got older my parents took us on holidays further and further away. I have done water sports in Mozambique, island hopped in Thailand, road tripped around England, skied in Slovakia, studied and travelled in Ireland and explored the history of Greece. Every place is so different and exciting in many ways, but the best thing about visiting somewhere you have never been before is exploring its uniqueness.

I first contacted OVC in 2014 when I was looking to study overseas. Since then I have lived in Dublin for two years studying Tourism and specialising in Hospitality and Airline Studies. Now that I am part of the OVC family I know that I will be able to share my love for travel with everyone that I come across and I can now help others have just as an amazing experiences as I had.

I cannot express how important travelling is for the soul.

My journey with OVC started in 2012 when they helped me in becoming an Au Pair in the USA, I lived in Alabama and Georgia with an amazing host family. I got to make friends from all over the world and got to travel to different cities in the 2 years I lived there. When I returned home to South Africa I became an Au Pair recruiter for OVC and very soon grew in the company.

We strive to make every persons travel dreams a reality. I have been fortunate enough to travel to more countries and visit our overseas partners in Thailand , America and done a Topdeck Tour to the UK , Wales and Ireland.

My passion is traveling and making it possible for everyone to be able to travel. So if you want a hassle free and reliable company to help you, OVC is definitely it.

My journey with the OVC has taken me from one adventure to the next! Fresh home from my gap years in the United States I began consulting in the early days of 2004! I’ve watched the OVC grow from strength to strength, and to proudly say we are the leaders in SA youth travel! I’m currently the franchise owner of OVC Durban North, East Rand, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West and Pretoria. We have fantastic crew members countrywide, eager to help young travellers reach their dreams of exploring the world just as we have had the opportunity to!
My passion, travels and knowledge of the United States culture has put me in the role of managing OVC American programs: Au Pair USA, Student Work USA, USA Hospitality Internships and Camp America. I personally handle each and every applicant that partakes in these programs. My role ensures all our young travellers are well taken care of when on their American adventure!
My Gap year afforded me the opportunity to live in the United states for 2 years as an Aupair and to travel extensively throughout the USA. My travels have taken me through to the UK and Ireland, Africa, Middle East and one of my favorite areas, the Far East! Travelling allows you to experience new cultures, new people, new adventures and make lifetime memories.
To all those inspired to travel, to find new adventures and to discover themselves, I encourage you all to take the steps I have. You will never regret your decision to venture out of South Africa!
