My first trip abroad was organised through the OVC and I had the time of my life. The bug had bitten. After my second trip, I decided to change careers, from Civil Engineering and Drafting, to Travel. Having travelled quite a bit prior to the change, I knew I was making a change for the better.

I have travelled to about 18 countries since then and I have experienced all types of accommodation and modes of transport, and have had the most wonderful experiences. One of the highlights being the Hockenheim Formula 1 Grand Prix.

To work in the travel industry, you have to be passionate about travel, and after many years, I still love it! Once the travel bug bites, it’s watch out world. And like anything in life, it’s what you make of it!
