Hello! Im Phillipa’s Mum!

The reason I have joined Phillipa on this OVC adventure is because, as a parent, I have seen the great value in it. I have watched my daughter grow from a sheltered school leaver into a mature woman. I have been astounded by the way she has handled the different scenarios that have come her way. She has learnt to navigate many situations on her own which will benefit her when placing young people in OVC programs.

As a parent I will not only be assisting with applications but will also be able to assist and reassure parents as their child prepares to leave home.

Hi future explorers, my name is Phillipa and I am the Franchise Owner of OVC Pietermaritzburg. My office covers the areas from Pietermaritzburg all the way to Vryheid, Newcastle, Dundee, and all the smaller towns in between.

Since I left school I have been on the Aupair program, to the USA, twice. I have traveled to multiple countries and have experienced many different cultures. Travelling has opened my eyes to a world much bigger than my home town. Every year has been a new adventure and OVC was instrumental in helping me achieve that. It gives me great joy seeing others take a leap of faith and experience something new and exciting.

My goal is to assist young people in finding the perfect program suited for their individual needs. A program tailor-made just for them!
