TEFL JOB PLACEMENT ASSITANCE 

If you have an existing TEFL qualification, and if you are a degree or a non-degree holder, you can teach online or in a country of your choice. This is the perfect option for you! With the Job placement assistance, we help you get set up as a teacher by guiding you on the destinations where you can teach, preparing all your documentation like your CV/Resume and providing you with the necessary coaching for your interviews. We will also provide you with application links to all the major teaching platforms and guide you through the process. 


You will get:

2 to 3, 1 hour zoom meetings with your tutor  (Note these meetings may be individual based or with other TEFL graduates)

Professional résumé/CV feedback and coaching

You will provide your current CV/resume. The TEFL Trainer works with you to write and craft a CV that is specifically designed for applying to ESL teaching positions. You should be prepared for 2-3 re-writes based on feedback from the trainer.

Lists of language schools in your preferred destination country(s)

We provide lists of ESL schools that regularly hire TEFL graduates in the top 2 or 3 countries where you would like to teach. This includes both onsite and online based teaching positions. These usually include a mix of ESL schools and universities.

Internet sites and job boards specializing in ESL positions

We provide list of job boards where ESL teaching positions are regularly posted so you can apply directly to these positions.

Introduction to our ESL recruitment partners

Where possible, we provide a list of head-hunters who specialize in ESL positions. This is most relevant to China and some other parts of Asia.

Job offer and contract advice

As you receive employment offers, the TEFL Trainer will provide counsel and help you consider financials and contractual issues.

The sheer number of ESL students means there are unlimited opportunities to teach and live abroad as an ESL professional.

With our Partners long history of training world-class ESL teachers, they have contacts for schools, institutes, and universities all over the world. TEFL graduates regularly secure paid teaching positions in Asia, Europe, Latin America, North America, the Middle East, Africa and Online.

Experience shows that TEFL participants who put the effort into preparing a strong résumé /CV, and who are active in their job search, find teaching positions within 2 months. Although we do not guarantee jobs for our TEFL graduates, if you’re ambitious, you can have multiple job offers!


Teacher Jobs Abroad

You can become an English Teacher, usually finding work in a private language school. These are the most abundant jobs throughout the world and are usually the most sought after, but other opportunities are also available like Freelance Private Tutor, School Teacher in government schools, Humanitarian Teacher, Business English Teacher, ESP Teacher (English for Specific Purposes) teach English for business, medicine, law or tourism for example, Teacher of English Exam Preparation, TEFL Trainer.  Look at all of your opportunities carefully and decide which ones best match your personality and career objectives.

Benefits also vary. Schools in Asia and the Middle East offer the best salaries and the most benefits, such as free or subsidized housing, language lessons, onboarding services, airfare reimbursement, annual vacation, and bonuses. Jobs in Latin America tend to be less structured and take a more independent approach to teachers. Most areas of the world pay enough to live comfortably, but usually not enough to save money or pay off debts. Health insurance is not common, but you may find this is available with employers offering long-term contracts.

You should be ready for work rules that are different and which may even seem strange—this is a function of cultural differences as well as specific labour laws in each country. Stay cheerful and flexible.
