AU PAIR NETHERLANDS. - Still RECRUITING :)

APPLICATIONS: Our partners are still accepting applicants and placements and matches are still happening....yayay! This is the best time to start working on the application ---> loads of time!!

VISAS: The Netherlands Embassies in South Africa are closed until further notice. We are keeping a close eye on this and will advise all pending applicants who are waiting to submit visa applications when embassies are open.

DEPARTURES: Departures will be dependant on visa approval and the lift of travel ban/s.

FLIGHTS: Once visa is granted and applicant has their passport and visa in hand then only will the flight will be booked. Flights will depend on what the situation will be at the time of booking and is all airline and travel ban dependent.

USE THIS TIME: to practice riding your bike - within your home that is! Learn Dutch, find Dutch recipes, find virtual tours and tour the Netherlands before getting there!!

TEFL SOUTHEAST ASIA – 26 March 2020 26 March 2020

COURSE: April and May courses will be in a virtual classroom, in the safety of your own home. 3 weeks virtual training will be live, in real time and you will be able to ask questions. It is not an online course. 2 weeks practical sessions will happen in Siem Reap in June.

JOB PLACEMENT: Most city schools are currently closed, but expected to be open by 20 April, after the Khmer New Year and Songkran.

Placement for degree-holders available in Thailand or Cambodia.

VISA: Embassies open for visa Appointments from 1 June 2020 countrywide!

FLIGHTS: Flights per departure will be booked by our partners on airlines which are still operational from SA to the USA

PLACEMENTS: Departures to the USA will commence on 14 May 2020. Summer matching remains high demand (June through Sep Arrival), so keep finishing up and submitting your applications to your OVC office

SIGNING UP WITH OVC: Sign up now for departure from earliest 1 July 2020, onwards through arrival to 2021

QUARANTINE: Applicants returning home from the US, are required to self-quarantine. Applicants travelling to the US, will arrive direct to the host families home. They are all advised to self-quarantine for up to 14 days!

STUDY NEW ZEALAND - 20 MARCH 2020 20 March 2020

New Zealand has closed its boarders. Only NZ Citizens and Residents can enter. Therefore with immediate effect Study New Zealand program is on hold until further notice.

CAMP AMERICA 20 March 2020

Applications for 2020 Season have now closed. We will start recruiting for the 2021 season within the next few months

AUPAIR USA - 17 MARCH 2020 17 March 2020

VISA: Embassies closed from 16 Mar through 31 May. Only certain expedite appointments may be granted, case by case. Extremely limited

FLIGHTS: Preferably direct only

PLACEMENTS APRIL/MAY: All arrivals suspended from 17 March, Arrivals will commence on 14 May 2020. We will automatically switch your au pair to this date, and will update this further if needed, depending on current visa status and visa appointment availability in your country.

QUARATINE: Nothing right now

USA AGRI J1 - 16 MARCH 2020 16 March 2020

We will continue to recruit as normal, however due to visas appointments being on hold until 31 May, departures will be delayed to after June/July.

J1 HOSPITALITY USA - 16 MARCH 2020 16 March 2020

FLIGHTS: Preferably direct only

PLACEMENTS: Sign up applicants for arrivals from 1 July onwards only

AAG: Partner meeting to be held to discuss the program moving forward. There is a current hold on arrivals in the US with AAG for 30 days to mid April

APPLICANTS IN THE USA: There are limited hours to work, so some interns are being affected. Robyn is working on the applicants in country to decide if flights need to be changed to return home earlier.

ISRAEL KIBBUTZ - 16 March 2020 16 March 2020

ARRIVALS and FLIGHT arrivals: No volunteers are able to enter into Israel until further notice.

APPLICATIONS: we can continue to take in applications however we are unable at this stage to say when applicants would be able to depart.

Program Status for Intercultural Exchange: China

Visas - those with existing visas can travel

Flights - AirChina is the best airline at the moment to use.

Quarantine - upon arrival, 3 days quarantine for testing, when results come back negative, candidates are moved to their apartments for 14 day self isolation. Online training is taking place.

Recruitment - September 2020 is full steam ahead.

J1 TEACHER EXCHANGE- USA 16 March 2020

Due to embassy closure until 31 May 2020, teachers will not be able to arrive by July and therefore OVC has decided to cancel this program for 2020.

AU PAIR GERMANY - we are still able to accept applications however unable to say when applicants could depart

FLIGHTS - due to flight changes/cancellations, au pairs may arrive later as planned and as long as everyone is in agreement. If you get new applications, I would ask if they are willing to start later (summer/fall) instead of asap.

Visa: INZ application are applied for online and at present is still open for business.

Flights: Travel restrictions for those foreigners who are from or have transited through Iran and Mainland China in the 14 days prior to departure for NZ. Mainland China includes all of China, but not Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR, and not Taiwan.

Placements: UP Education is still open for business until further notice.

Selling / Moving Forward: Sign up applicants in preparation for their intended departure until further notice.
