Our partners are working with some of the world’s leading cruise lines, as well as South African based recruitment companies to boost your chances of a photographic career at sea! The Cruise Ship Photography course is designed according to their technical standards and the only South African training certificate accepted by the cruise ship photographic industry.

The starting monthly wage for a Cruise Ship Photographer is approximately US$1200-1500 (including commission) - this is a tax-free salary.

Eligibility

- 21-35 years old
- A passion for photography
- At least 12 months sales or customer service experience
- Fit and healthy – no chronic illness or medication
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is a bonus
- Clear criminal record
- Able to speak, read and write fluent English (additional languages will be a bonus)
- Willingness to live and work on international cruise ships
- Valid South African, Namibian or Zimbabwean Passport
- Some tattoos accepted – if you have any, please discuss this with your consultant

* Only vaccinated travellers will be allowed to apply for a US Visa. (Recognized Vaccines: Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson)

Easy application process - contact your nearest OVC office to receive the application forms.  Complete the relevant application documents and return them to your consultant, along with your updated CV and a recent full-length photo in business attire.  Your consultant will be able to assist with any questions you might have during your application process.
